Today, we would like to introduce Sake.
In the process of pursuing "sushi and sake," Hirakou Sake Brewery in Miyagi Prefecture learned of the connection between Kabuki and Edomae Sushi, and realized it into a product, "Hikakami Sukeroku Edozakura," which was released in 2018.
The product received a great response even before its release, and many customers were delighted.
In contrast, this is "Sukeroku Hatsuzakura.
It is said to have originated from the Kabuki play "Sukeroku Kuruwa no Hatsuzakura (Sukeroku Kuruwa First Cherry Blossom)," and is performed by Nizaemon Kataoka.
Even though the main character is the same Sukeroku, the performance seems to be different from the Ichikawa family's "Sukeroku".
Interesting.
Now, the important part, the contents of the sake, was a 45% polished Junmai Daiginjo, and a raw sake version!
The pure white label is reminiscent of Someiyoshino, making it perfect for spring, not only in taste but also in appearance.
We hope you enjoy our sushi pairing!
